Stock Pitch Competition Q1 2026.
Every one of our portfolios had the chance to have an analyst pitch a stock to a panel of judges: Isa Buenfil van Rijs, Tomer Porat and Adrian Herzele, presenting their investment thesis, valuation, and risk assessment under time pressure. We heard about a diverse set of assets spanning from equities to derivative strategies and commodities.

Investment Banking Talk with PPLE alumna Thaïs Ayuso Deshmukh
A talk on careers in finance, her journey from PPLE to a Sales & Trading position at UBS Investment Bank, and practical advice for the application process. Thais shared fascinating insights into the industry and gave students a roadmap for finding a role in finance that matches both their interests and personality.

As a part of our initiative to educate on modern portfolio management of alternative assets, Freya Mignon (PM of Alternative Portfolio) and others took part in the world's largest bitcoin finance conference.

The PPLE Investment Competition 2025 simulated investing in the stock market; eight weeks long, members tested their strategies and vied for first place. Aksel Hovland was our winner (annualized return of 324.4%).

For Analysts and Portfolio Managers, a seminar dedicated to the foundations of investment and finance was held in order to create a common launchpad from which all members can learn more advanced (and interesting!) concepts.
